[VWHK] “Grown-Up” Tiguan 2 Launched At Grown-Up Restaurant Ground


Volkswagen got a little full-fledged French taste to complement its matured German technology in late July when its Hong Kong subsidiary press-launched the second-generation Tiguan at the BLT Steak restaurant in Ocean Terminal on the 27th, utilising the restaurant’s outdoor driveway area as launch ground and providing sumptuous canapés to the invited crowd (courtesy of the restaurant).

VWHK Launches Golf GTI Clubsport, Shows Off All Seven GTI Generations In One Go




This year Volkswagen celebrates its 40th anniversary of the Golf GTI by introducing the special edition Clubsport and track-specific Clubsport S variants.  While the latter won’t see its light in Hong Kong, the former was launched on July 5 at the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, accompanied by an eye-catching showcasing of all seven GTI generations, with vehicles loaned out by members of the local Vorsicht web forum.
